EVMetric collects minimal data. We do not require account registration and we do not collect names, email addresses, or other personally identifiable information as part of normal site use.

2. Tool Calculations

All calculations performed by EVMetric tools (EV Range Calculator, Charging Cost Estimator) run entirely within your browser using JavaScript. No inputs you enter into any tool are transmitted to our servers. We have no access to the values you calculate.

We use a single functional cookie to remember your cookie consent preference (key: ck). This cookie does not contain personal information and is stored locally in your browser.

If we use third-party analytics services, those services may set their own cookies. You can manage or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not affect the functionality of our calculators.

For users in the European Economic Area, we process anonymized analytics data under our legitimate interest in understanding how our tools are used, so we can improve them. We do not process special-category personal data.

Aggregated, anonymized analytics data is retained for up to 26 months and then deleted. No personally identifiable data is retained because we do not collect it.

6. Third-Party Services

We use Google Fonts to load typefaces (Inter and Libre Baskerville). This service may log your IP address as part of the font delivery request. Google's privacy policy governs that processing. We use Unsplash for blog cover images, which are loaded directly from Unsplash's CDN.
